Our Mission:

The Pequannock Township Regional Chamber of Commerce's mission is to increase awareness of, and support for, Pequannock Township's business community. Since its formation in 1993, the Chamber has grown from a handful of members to over 100 retailers, professionals and industrial businesses.

The Chamber wears many hats in our community. We are the voice of local businesses with the municipal government and the community. We support our community, and have made donations for local projects and sponsoring events to benefit your business and the community.

Our Purpose:

Our purpose is to preserve competitive enterprise by promoting an understanding of the business community and a concern for its problems. One way we do this is by acting as the business community’s link to local, county and state government on issues that concern us. For example, the Newark-Pompton Turnpike Streetscape was altered in part, based on our suggestions and for sidewalk improvements.

We also promote business growth and development through our seminars and lectures. Guest lecturers discuss the latest business trends before they are commonly known. In addition, sponsoring business card exchanges where business people can meet each other, share ideas, and form important contacts. Our most effective community event is the yearly Street Fair.

Our community is extremely important to us and we work very hard at ensuring that it remains a safe place to be. We have donated a bicycle to the Pequannock Policy Department’s Bicycle Patrol Unit. This will not only allow the officers to better patrol the business district, but gets the police out of their cars and closer to the public.
